Wudang Mountains, the world culture heritage as well as a legendary Taoism holy land in China, stands imposingly at the mysterious 30 degrees north latitude along which there also locates Mayan Monuments, Egypt Pyramid and other mythical relics. Up to now, it is listed as an AAAA Chinese scenic site and some people term it as a Vatican City, Mecca or Jerusalem, of Chinese version.

Where is the best place to experience Taoist life and develop spirituality in the same time? Maybe an old Taoist lodging deep in the Mount Wudang can give you a well-tuned answer. Chiongtai Palace, embracing three temple complexes, is located in the southeast of Heaven-Pillar Peak and face opposite directly to the handsome twins peaks---called Candle Peak by local people. This temple complex is the place where we chose to experience Taoist life in five days, and the place where purple cloud often haunts the piercing peaks, as well as row upon row of palaces and temples. Among so many Taoist temple complexes in Wudang mountains, Chiongtai Palace is the best well-kept place and an ideal quiet place for Tao cultivation. It is heard that this is the coronation place of God Zhen Wu emperor.

Now let us live in the Chiongtai temple that gestates so rich Taoism cultural essence, to experience Taoist’s simple and carefree life. Let us walk in historic corridor and talk with senior Taoist to get on the knowledge in relation to medicine and health. Let us taste vegetarian food cooked by our own hands and experience Taoist life in the fairyland of myth and inspiration.
